Thank you for taking the time for visiting our mini-website dedicated to the recruitment of our Chief Information Officer. I hope you find the site informative, and that it helps you in your decision to apply for this key post at our Trust.
This is an exciting time to be joining the Trust into what is a new role within the organisation. The Trust approved its Informatics Strategy in March this year, and is in the process of implementing a redesign of its Corporate Services. On top of this, a new patient information system is currently being implemented with the first cohort due to go live in February 2015. The successful candidate will play a significant part in supporting all 3 initiatives, and will be key in translating the future business needs of the operational services into informatics solutions.
As a Trust we have as our overall purpose "We will take a lead in improving the wellbeing of our communities in order to make a positive difference throughout people's lives." Part of the role undertaken by the successful applicant will be to work with the leaders in the organisation to bring about the changes necessary to deliver fully on this purpose. These changes include developing more of a Coaching approach throughout the leadership of the organisation and fostering an environment where the predominating style is one where to "ask" is more common than to "tell" and where listening is really valued.
Our organisation is developing rapidly and you will join at a time when the relationships with our partners are strong, where there are opportunities to broaden our service offering and client base and a clear national drive to raise the standards and profile of mental health service provision.
I hope you are inspired by our offering and our journey, and look forward to receiving your application.
