Thank you for your interest in joining Bradford District Care Foundation Trust, and for visiting our microsite dedicated to the recruitment of our Chief Information Officer and Deputy Director of Finance posts. We hope that you find the site useful and informative and that it helps you in your decision to apply. These are key posts at the Trust, and the successful candidates will join an experienced group of Deputy Directors who are responsible for leading the organisation’s operational activity and transformation programme.
This is an exciting time to join us following our recent authorisation as a Foundation Trust. Our Trust Board sees this as a real milestone and the authorisation is testament to our committed workforce, as the Trust has rightly been subject to very rigorous scrutiny of its 5 year business plan, our financial plans, quality strategy and governance arrangements.
The Trust is committed to a vision of becoming a leading provider of integrated care for people of all ages who have mental or physical health needs, and working closely with partners in the acute sector and primary care, our commissioners and voluntary organisations to achieve this.
Each of these deputy roles reports to an Executive Director who form part of the Executive Management Team (EMT) and are in turn full members of the Trust Board. The Chief Information Officer will lead delivery of the Trust’s strategy to become a leading exponent of digital healthcare and will be key in translating the future business needs of the operational services into informatics solutions. There is already a strong network of CIOs and Informatics Leads across Bradford and Airedale and the CIO will be expected to represent BDCFT in the forward plans of this group.
The Deputy Director of Finance will be responsible for developing the Trust’s financial planning, reporting and contracting functions and will oversee a local consortium payroll service. Key accountabilities will include ensuring the provision of excellent finance business partnering and delivery of key financial targets. The post holder will work closely with Deputy Director colleagues and will support members of the Board to refresh and update the financial strategy by providing excellent financial advice and analysis and collaboration on our service transformation journey. This is a key senior role in a forward thinking newly authorised FT with a strong financial track record and clear service vision.
Both candidates will be expected to be an expert in their field, and able to bring wide experience to the Trust, and contribute through their inspirational leadership style to the Trust’s track record for continuous improvement and outstanding service delivery working with internal and external stakeholders.
We hope you are inspired by our offering and our journey, and look forward to receiving your application.
