Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust aims to be the safest organisation in the NHS through providing safe, clean and personal care to every patient, every time.
We are an integrated provider of hospital, community and primary care services, including the University Teaching Trust. Our team of 6,000 staff provide local services to the City of Salford and specialist services to Greater Manchester and beyond.
We are extremely proud to hold the top satisfaction scores for both patients and staff. We emerged as the top Acute Trust nationally in the In-Patient Survey 2013 and celebrated the best results in the country for the NHS Staff Survey 2013.
Our Services and staff have received a number of accolades, honours and awards which are listed here.
We were the first Foundation Trust to publish a Quality Improvement Strategy – with clear ambition to be the safest organisation in the NHS.
We will build this culture of safety by embedding our core values:
- Patient and customer focus
- Continuous improvement
