  THE ROLE  
 


We are now seeking to appoint commercially driven and financially astute Business Partners. These new roles support the Trust in moving away from the traditional NHS way of managing finances to integrating business and decision support within our service teams.

Whilst the Business Partners will provide financial leadership for each Clinical Management Team (CMT), these roles will be much more than just finance and will play a lead role in business planning, capacity and activity planning, activity based management, investment management, productivity improvement and procurement.

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance the individuals will take full responsibility for providing comprehensive financial information, advice and support to the CMT.

Delivering modern management accounting practices and business knowledge, you will utilise strong analytical and communication skills to develop understanding of complex financial issues to non finance managers.

This post will be accountable for the CMT’s adherence to statutory accounting requirements and Trust policies for internal control, corporate governance and reporting requirements.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

  • CCAB Qualified
  • Significant experience in financial management and staff supervision.
  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • Evidence of leadership and motivational skills
  • Ability to handle complex budget holding and manage change
  • Ability to deal with a number of individuals up to Director Level.
  • Highly Experienced user of Excel and Word
