Andrew Edwards
After graduating, Andy had a brief career in accounting before joining the Nottingham office of a major blue chip recruitment business in 1994, where he recruited both temporary and permanent employees in a wide variety of organisations across the East Midlands. In 1997, he transferred to Australia where he spent the next 4 years managing recruitment operations and recruiting at the senior level, before returning to the UK in 2001 as the Operating Director for Finance and Legal in the North West. Andy is one of the founders of Axon Resourcing Limited.

Virginia Mellers
Virginia Mellers graduated from Birmingham University in 1995 with a degree in Commerce before joining ASDA. She joined the Michael Page Finance Nottingham business in 1996 and in June 2001 she became Regional Manager for the East Midlands, taking management responsibility for a team of consultants and focusing on executive recruitment and key account management. Virginia is an owner and Director of Axon Resourcing.

Eric Tomlinson
After graduating in 1994, Eric served as an Officer in the Armed Forces before joining Michael Page Finance in April 2001. There he set up the North West Public and Not for Profit Sector Division. Eric then established a Public and Not for Profit Sector business with an independent firm based across the UK managing and developing six offices. Eric is now responsible for interim and permanent recruitment in the Public and Not for Profit Sectors within Axon..

Emma Richardson
Emma graduated in Law at Southampton and went on to gain her post graduate LPC qualification in London. In 1997, she joined Hays Accountancy Personnel in Norwich, operating in the part qualified and newly qualified permanent market. Promotions led to her managing the office and focusing on senior finance appointments. She then moved across into a regional role in East Anglia, in the emerging internet based recruitment and solutions arena, producing bespoke tailored internet packages for key clients and providing account management support. Emma is now responsible for senior interim and permanent recruitment exercises in the East Midlands.

Ian Leech ACMA
Ian qualified as an Accountant in the Midlands with Courtaulds PLC and a subsidiary of BICC PLC before moving into financial recruitment with a leading Financial Recruitment business. Ian progressed into a number of roles including Regional Manager of the Nottingham office and Operating Director of three offices in the Midlands and East Anglia. He also worked in London where he had responsibility for Executive recruitment across the South East. Before joining Axon Resourcing, Ian was most recently employed as Associate Director with Imprint PLC, with responsibility for both the Imprint and ECHM brands in the Midlands.

Wendy Rigby
After graduating Wendy first worked as an accountant for Northern Foods. Subsequent to this she has many years of experience in financial recruitment in the North of England having worked with larger international organisations and smaller regional and independent businesses. Most recently Wendy has focused on senior executive recruitment appointments within the Commercial and Industrial Sectors including businesses in the VC and Private Equity backed arenas.

Martin Chadwick
After graduating from The University of Liverpool, Martin joined the NHS as a services manager and then went on to gain experience working in higher education at The University of Manchester. Since graduation and whilst working full time Martin also studied part time to gain a post graduate certificate in business management in accountancy and finance. Martin now has responsibility for research and recruitment activity primarily in the Public Sector.

Jonathan Phillips
Jonathan has worked in the recruitment industry since 1992. Having spent much of his time with a national recruitment business he moved into the Search and Selection market in 2005 and has since recruited senior professionals to both interim and permanent assignments across both the Public and Private sectors. With over 10 years Public Sector recruitment experience, Jonathan has joined Axon Resourcing to develop their Senior Interim Management offering within the Public Sector arena.

William Griffiths
After graduating with a first class degree in business management, Will had a brief career in Marketing and Promotions before joining the Manchester office of a leading professional services recruitment business. Recruiting initially for the full spectrum of public sector and not-for-profit organisations, Will developed a focus on the NHS and moved to Axon in 2008 to manage and develop the Public Sector Interim Finance function in the Axon North office.

Stephen Compton
After graduating in 1996, Steve worked within the travel and leisure industry undertaking Marketing and Customer Service roles. In 2002 Steve moved into recruitment, and he has spent the last four years specialising in Interim and Permanent Finance Systems recruitment across the Commercial and Public Sectors.  Steve is now responsible for interim and permanent recruitment in the Public and Not for Profit Sectors across the East and West Midlands within Axon.
