Andrew Edwards
After graduating, Andy had a brief career in accounting before joining the Nottingham office of a major blue chip recruitment business in 1994, where he recruited both temporary and permanent employees in a wide variety of organisations across the East Midlands. In 1997, he transferred to Australia where he spent the next 4 years managing recruitment operations and recruiting at the senior level, before returning to the UK in 2001 as the Operating Director for Finance and Legal in the North West. Andy is one of the founders of Axon Resourcing Limited.

Virginia Mellers
Virginia Mellers graduated from Birmingham University in 1995 with a degree in Commerce before joining ASDA. She joined the Michael Page Finance Nottingham business in 1996 and in June 2001 she became Regional Manager for the East Midlands, taking management responsibility for a team of consultants and focusing on executive recruitment and key account management. Virginia is an owner and Director of Axon Resourcing.

Eric Tomlinson
After graduating in 1994, Eric served as an Officer in the Armed Forces before joining an international recruitment consultancy in April 2001. There he set up the North West Public and Not for Profit Sector Division. Eric then established a Public and Not for Profit Sector business with an independent firm based across the UK managing and developing six offices. As a founding Director within Axon, Eric is now responsible for senior and executive permanent finance recruitment in the Public and Not for Profit Sectors.

Ian Leech ACMA
Ian qualified as an Accountant in the Midlands with Courtaulds PLC and a subsidiary of BICC PLC before moving into financial recruitment with a leading Financial Recruitment business. Ian progressed into a number of roles including Regional Manager of the Nottingham office and Operating Director of three offices in the Midlands and East Anglia. He also worked in London where he had responsibility for Executive recruitment across the South East. Before joining Axon Resourcing, Ian was most recently employed as Associate Director with Imprint PLC, with responsibility for both the Imprint and ECHM brands in the Midlands.

Martin Chadwick
After graduating from The University of Liverpool, Martin joined the NHS as a services manager, moving on to gain experience working in higher education at The University of Manchester. Whilst working full time Martin also studied part time to gain a post graduate certificate in Business Management in Accountancy and Finance. Martin now has responsibility for research and recruitment activity primarily in the Public Sector. Martin is qualified in Thomas International Personality Profile Analysis and is a Prince2 Practitioner.

Jonathan Phillips
Jonathan has worked in the recruitment industry since 1992. Having spent much of his time with a national recruitment business he moved into the Search and Selection market in 2005 and has since recruited senior professionals to both interim and permanent assignments across both the Public and Private sectors. With over 10 years Public Sector recruitment experience, Jonathan has joined Axon Resourcing to develop their Senior Interim Management offering within the Public Sector arena.

William Griffiths
After graduating with a first class degree in business management, Will had a brief career in Marketing and Promotions before joining the Manchester office of a leading professional services recruitment business. Recruiting initially for the full spectrum of public sector and not-for-profit organisations, Will developed a focus on the NHS and moved to Axon in 2008 to manage and develop the Public Sector Interim Finance function. Will currently recruits throughout the North West and Midlands.

Alison Atkinson
After graduating in International Business Studies, Alison joined a national specialist recruiter progressing from consultant to Regional Manager.  Since August 2000, Alison has worked for two large well known finance recruiters specialising in placing temporary, contract and interim staff in the North of England.  Her focus now is on the senior finance interim market in commerce and industry across the North.

Liz Gilliver
Liz Gilliver graduated from Lancaster University in 2000. Since then Liz worked in PR consultancy before joining a London-based financial recruitment consultancy in 2004. During this role Liz progressed to Divisional Manager of Interim Banking and Financial Services, leading a team of consultants who recruited finance professionals into a wide variety of institutions across the Capital. In 2007, Liz joined an international consultancy and moved to Hong Kong to establish the company’s first finance division.
